One photographer I discovered was Priya Kambli, who was my second choice behind Sandy Carson for my emulation project. I think the way she draws attention to certain parts of her photos is brilliant. I learned a lot of composition skills in semester 1, but most notably, I learned what the rule of thirds is. I had always heard the term but never fully understood it, so I'm glad I know what it means now. My favorite project was probably symmetry and balance because it's the project I learned the most from and the one I took my best pictures in. I notice and take advantage of more photo opportunities in the world now. My relationship with photography has changed in that I know more about it now. I'm most interested in learning new composition techniques in semester 2.
